Allan is shown in the 1901 census aged 12, the son of Angus and Catherine (both aged 60) and brother of Donald John (25), Alexander (19), Donald Archy (17), May Flora (15) and Angus (10). The 1891 census also shows Peggy (17), Kitty (19) and John (20) as older siblings.
He is my grand uncle. He went over the top in February 1915 and was never seen again. They never saw the 200 that went with him
