Donald is shown in the 1901 census at 2 Craigielea Villa, Oban, aged 9, the son of Angus and Marion (both aged 41), and brother of Maggie (10), Alexander (8) and Angus J (6).
Found a dog tag in Norfolk belonging to Donald A McPHail, it is linked to Lovats Scouts ,would be happy to reunite it with Donalds family, it is a bit battered after being in the ground for 100 years but can clearly read his name a serial number.
